Every AK Burger Zone patty starts as a house blend of smoked brisket, pulled pork, short rib and chuck — hand pressed daily, never frozen, then finished on a hot grill so the char seals the smoke in. That is the whole idea behind “where the BBQ meets the burger,” and it is why our burgers eat more like a barbecue plate than fast food.
We smoke our own brisket and pulled pork in house, then work that smoked meat into the grind alongside short rib and chuck. Short rib brings the richness, chuck brings the classic beefy backbone, brisket brings the smoke, and pulled pork keeps everything juicy. Nothing arrives as a pre-formed frozen puck — patties are pressed by hand and cooked to order.
Toppings follow the same rule. Onion rings are fried to order for the Western Burger Zone, bacon is cooked crisp, and the brisket or pulled pork on a BBQ Burger Zone comes off the same smoker that runs all day. Burgers are served with fries or tots, and onion rings can be swapped in for $1.50.
Prefer chicken? We run grilled and crispy chicken burgers too, and the kids menu keeps it simple for smaller appetites. Milkshakes, malts and smoothies are made to order.
